Established in 1966 the Bristol Club was formed with the following aims:
- Promoting interest in Bristol cars and other makes originally equipped with Bristol engines.
- Maintaining a register of Bristol cars within Australia and of owners of Bristol cars, and to circulate this information to members.
- To exchange and pool technical information and operational experience.
- To hold regular meetings and to arrange events within the Club and with other Clubs having similar objectives and interests.
- To acquire new or used replacements parts to meet the current and foreseeable future needs of members and to make such parts available to members in accordance with such policy as may be determined by the Committee from time to time.
- To maintain a library of handbooks, manuals, catalogues and technical and historical literature relevant to Bristol cars and engines.
- To circulate a regular newsletter of general interest to members with regard to club activities, technical information and details of cars.
