NSW: Two-Day Run to Port Kembla Steelworks, Nowra, Bateman’s Bay and Braidwood – Thursday 8 and Friday 9 August

A two-day run has been organised for Thursday, 8 and Friday 9 August including a tour of the Port Kembla Steelworks, located 8 kilometres south of Wollongong. This is a chance for locals to explore their own backyard and have an up close and personal experience at a major steel making plant.
Meet at the BlueScope Steel Visitor's Centre at 10.15am for morning tea (provided).
10.30am-12.45pm - Bus tour of Port Kembla's inner and outer harbours then lunch afterwards at the Port Kembla Heritage Park.
Afternoon visit to the Australian Motorlife Museum.
Overnight in Nowra.
Friday, depart motel for Bateman's Bay via the Princes Highway. Morning tea at Bateman's Bay. Drive to Braidwood via Kings Highway for lunch.
Travel home via Goulburn or Nerriga and Nowra, or stay overnight with some other members on Friday night in Bungendore.
