SA: Rendezvous for Coffee at Aldinga Aerodrome at 10.30am then tour to Blewitt Springs for lunch at Beresford Winery – Sunday, 30 April
April 30 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday, 30 April – Meet at 10.30am
Our rendezvous will be at the Aldinga Aerodrome, Colville Road, Aldinga (see map below) at 10:30am, where we can enjoy a tea or coffee and a piece of cake or a breakfast toasted sandwich in the cosy and eclectic retro style flight office cafe (PAYG). The cafe area is also filled with interesting nostalgic aeronautical memorabilia. We will then tour through Willunga to our lunch venue at Beresford Winery. Given that the weather is fine we can have a reserved section on the deck, and if the weather is poor we would be inside.
Our sortie destination is the Beresford Winery on 252 Blewitt Springs Road, McLaren Flat 5171 where we will place our cars on display in front of the new tasting gallery pavilion.
Our lunch will be Beresford ‘Casual Consumption’ shared platters of local and international cheeses, locally made lavash, marinated Kalamata olives, dried figs, smoked almonds and muscatels which will also include two glasses per person from the Beresford Classic Wine range. For those who won’t be drinking wine, the full range of Bickfords syrups is also available. The cost per person at Beresford is a very reasonable $25.
Please contact Peter Forrester or Jo Lewis for further details.
