SA: ‘Drive Your Old Car Day’, Friday, 1 September 2017 – Run to the south of Adelaide – Meet at 10am at the Feathers Hotel Car park at Burnside
September 1 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
As in previous years, the Bristol Owners Club of Australia, Jaguar Drivers Club of South Australia and the Stag Owners Club have been invited to take part in a run to be organised on the above date, by members of the Armstrong-Siddeley Club. This is an annual event that welcomes in the first day of Spring and has been enjoyed by many in previous years.
This will be a run to the south of Adelaide (previous years have been to the north) and will comprise a morning tea stop, a tour through the Adelaide Hills with a lunch stop at Meadows. While the final route is a mystery, the event start is at 10.00am in the Feathers Hotel car park for coffee in the cafe, before departure. The street address is 416 Glynburn Road, Burnside. The carpark entrance is off Greenhill Road. A run sheet and briefing will be provided during the morning tea period, followed by a mystery tour down south to the lunch spot at Meadows.
This event has been well attended in the past and is a good way to highlight the old car movement in general and the cars dear to our hearts, in particular.
BOCA’s attendance at this event is being co-ordinated by Peter Holland.
