WA: Council of Motoring Clubs’ Classic Car Show at Ascot Racecourse, Perth, Sunday, 24 March
March 24 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Perth’s premier classic motoring event turns 50 at Ascot Racecourse on Sunday 24 March!
The Shannon’s Classic Car Show started with a small gathering of five British car clubs in 1969. Now the event showcases almost one thousand vehicles from more than 70 clubs, covering all eras, marques and types from trucks, buses, vintage and classic cars, sports cars, motorcyles, scooters and microcars.
There will also be displays by special interest clubs, such as the vintage radio society and the machinery preservation society. Food and refreshments are available and Kalamunda Community Radio will be playing classic tunes and broadcasting live from the show. It’s a great day out for the whole family!
Admission is $10 for adults with free entry for accompanying children under 16. Free parking on site, gates open 10am and close 3pm.
Funds raised support the Motor Museum of Western Australia. Proudly supported by Shannon’s Insurance, Council of Motoring Clubs WA, Perth Racing, Richard’s Towerpower and Media Junction.
