SUMMARY:Griffith Wedgie Rally Cancelled Due to Corvid Restrictions
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately Covid has got us again. \n\n\n\nThe Greater Sydney lockdown is due to end on 28th August just a few days from the start of our Griffith rally. \n\n\n\nThe possibility of lock-down extension & the border closures gives us an uncertainty that we cannot manage. \n\n\n\nWe therefore reluctantly must cancel or perhaps postpone the Sept. 3-6 Griffith Wedgie. \n\n\n\nStay Safe \n\n\n\nBob Leffler

SUMMARY:SA - National Motor Museum at Birdwood & lunch at the Charleston Hotel
DESCRIPTION:We will be visiting the National Motor Museum at Birdwood (https://motor.history.sa.gov.au/) followed by lunch at the Charleston Hotel.  As a result of Shannon’s sponsorship all car club visits to the Birdwood Museum are free of charge!  This includes the driver and as many passengers as the vehicle is legally able to carry. Our Bristol cars can be parked on display in the forecourt area.  \n\n\n\n9:30am depart from the front of the Oakbank Hotel for a scenic 30 minute drive to Birdwood. \n\n\n\n10:00am arrive National Motor Museum.   They don’t have any catering or morning teas at the moment because of the need to do covid plans\, however Jo & Pete will bring our usual morning tea and trestle and we can have it outside (as we have often done before). It will be helpful if you could bring your own cups 😉  \n\n\n\nThe Museum don’t run tours\, however they may be able to have someone to give us a little talk.  \n\n\n\n1pm - We’ll leave for the short 15 minute drive to the Charleston Hotel (https://charlestonhotel.com.au/) – countrified\, quaint and close by.  Meals well priced (see menu on their website)\, local wines and it has a very good reputation. \n\n\n\nThen travel home at your leisure. \n\n\n\nPlease advise Jo or Peter if you are interested in attending and the number of people so we can lock in bookings at the venues. \n\n\n\nPhone: 08 7073 0004 Mobile: 0407 725 569
